Celebrating Community Spirit: Cambridge Mitsubishi Sponsors CMHA House League Day of Champions

Hockey Day 2024 Mitsubishi

In a heartwarming display of community spirit and sportsmanship, Cambridge Mitsubishi proudly helped sponsor the CMHA House League Day of Champions in March. This annual event, a highlight on the local calendar, brought together 430 young hockey enthusiasts from across Cambridge, ranging in age from U9 to U18.
The event was nothing short of spectacular, as kids took to the ice to showcase their skills, determination, and love for the game. From the exhilarating on-ice action to the celebratory banquet, the day was a testament to the dedication and hard work of these young athletes and their supportive families.
As the day came to a close, the sense of achievement and camaraderie was palpable. Whether they were scoring goals or cheering from the stands, every child contributed to the vibrant atmosphere that made the Day of Champions an unforgettable event.
Here’s to celebrating our young athletes and the community that supports them! We look forward to many more events like this in the future, as we continue to nurture the next generation of champions.

Cambridge Mitsubishi Supports World Food Day with Generous Donations

mitsubishi Foodbank

In honour of World Food Day, Cambridge Mitsubishi stepped up to support the community by collecting non-perishable food items and donating $1,000 to the Cambridge Foodbank. This heartfelt initiative comes at a crucial time, as food banks across Canada have seen a dramatic 35% increase in traffic since 2019.
The reality is stark: 1 in 4 Canadians have had to eat less than they felt they should because there wasn’t enough money or food. In March 2022 alone, food banks in Canada were visited 1.5 million times, highlighting the pressing need for community support and contributions.
Cambridge Mitsubishi’s efforts demonstrate that every contribution, big or small, makes a significant impact. The collected non-perishable items and the generous monetary donation will help provide essential support to those facing food insecurity in the community.
The team at Cambridge Mitsubishi is proud to stand with the Cambridge Foodbank and is committed to continuing their support in the fight against hunger. By coming together, we can make a difference and ensure that everyone in our community has access to the food they need.
